Responsibilities and Qualifications

Under the direction of the Imaging Services manager and Medical Director of the Department of Nuclear Medicine, assess patient condition, evaluate exam appropriateness and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients. Analyze computer acquired data, archive images to PACS, critique results. Perform quality control for all equipment. Adheres to Radiation Safety standards.



Because you’re committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That’s why you’ll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:


Education: Certificate of completion from a formal Nuclear Medicine training in a degree or certificate program is required. Continuing education credits per NMTCB guidelines.  
Licensure: Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or ARRT.

Experience: 0+ years
Certifications: Must have a curent BLS certification provider card or complete a course within their probationary period.
