Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Director of Business Analytics position is responsible for managing all aspects of data analytic development and work processes for the Integrated Sourcing Solution (ISS) department in addition to providing complex modeling and dashboard development for ROi and ISS Executive Leadership in support of the sourcing process.  Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

 

  • Develop analysis models and/or utilization and compliance reports of high complexity and oversee development and completion of all other reports. In order to ensure complex models are comprehensive, Director Analytics will have cross-functional team leadership and/or participation. Determines data sources needed from ROi and member available databases to support GPO contracts and member specific contracts. Manipulates data and/or compares to multiple baselines and proposals.   Analysis will include high level of financial (e.g., general ledger) and/or human resources data that may or may not require estimation or development.  Phased implementation may need to be modeled. TCO in this analysis may involve modeling different scenarios and is of high intensity. Follow-up monitoring and reporting will be required.
  • Responsible for advising ROI Leadership analytically on areas that include, but is not limited to, ROi contracting and member utilization components. The Director Analytics level of knowledge will span all verticals and categories, including accounting and financial statement aspects and will require frequent interaction.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors Degree required
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of analytics experience and 3 years supervisory experience
  • Preferred Other: Master Degree
