Support the Director of Group Contracting and the Medical/Surgical and Pharmacy Contract Managers in the development, analysis, maintenance and standardization of contract pricing and terms throughout the group purchasing contract portfolio. Provide Mercy utilization data and comparative summaries of analysis of competitive contract proposals and against current pricing, terms and conditions. Analysis is focused on determining the best contract options for maximizing quality and service while achieving standardization, cost control and performance improvement. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
1 Supports the Director of Group Contracting and the Pharmacy Contract Manager in the development, analysis, maintenance and standardization of contract pricing, terms and condition.
2 Provides Mercy utilization data and comparative analysis of proposed pricing, terms and conditions comparing against competitive proposals, current user pricing and terms, industry benchmarks and competitive market information.
3 Supports the development, maintenance and compliance monitoring of contracts as requested by the contract manager.
4 Assists in the analysis of contract savings.
5 Interacts with internal and external customers and with vendors as directed by the contract manager.
6 Works collaboratively with the Resource Optimization Group throughout Mercy and other co-workers engaged in performance improvement activity across Mercy as requested by the contract manager.
7 Communicates with the Contract and Revenue Management Team to coordinate the implementation of support services contracts and the management of resulting savings and revenue.
8 Performs all work in accordance with the mission and values of Mercy.
