Responsibilities and Qualifications

Responsible for keying PO, Non-Po, recurring, and utility invoices accurately and within MAPSS’s compliance standards and policies. Sets up new vendors according to the MAPSS Vendor Set-up policy. Works with the Accounts Payable Reps, vendors, and Supply Chain on past due invoices. This includes reviewing, researching and resolving discrepancies on invoices, statements, and the RNI report on a monthly basis. Selects invoices for payment giving preference to discount and demand requests.


Assist in training new employees on all accounts payable financial systems. Compiles metrics for accounts payable as directed.


Responsible for auditing co-workers reimbursements to the T&E policy in a timely manner. Works with internal customers and MTS on Concur system issues. Works closely with PCard Administrator on issues that arise from ACI payments, Travel cards, and department PCards.


Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years A/P experience.
