Responsibilities and Qualifications

Participate in on-site Health Risk Assessments as a member of the HRA team. Knowledge and skilled technique while performing blood pressure, pulse, body composition and phlebotomy. Complete phlebotomy certification within 4 weeks.

Participates in processing of HRA, screening, or class paperwork. Perform data entry of screening results and completion of mailed results with 14 days or a required by specific company.

Ability to complete training and perform a variety of Health Screening procedures including Urine Drug Screens, Hearing Testing, Vision Testing, Pulmonary Function Testing, EKG’s, and Respirator Fit Testing.

Excellent communication skills when working with contracted companies and their employees.

Promote additional wellness services while on-site with a detailed knowledge of services and products offered by Corporate Health and Wellness.

Attend bi-monthly Corporate Health educational meetings.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified Instructor. Teach BLS, CPR, First Aid, and Blood Bourne Pathogen classes to Mercy Employees and on-site classes to public, including preparing of materials, securing facilities, and providing high-quality education on proper technique and procedures.

Identify own education needs and searches out educational experiences to meet these needs. Maintains CEU’s per appropriate certification guidelines.

Drive Corporate Health vehicle on-site for testing and obtain Chauffeurs License within 4 weeks of start date.

Allow for flexible hours including early mornings, on-site travel to out of town locations, and accommodating multiple shifts and locations for contracted companies.

Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

  • Associates Degree or Certified Medical Assistant
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills. Previous medical testing preferred.
