Behavioral Health Department

“Behavioral Health offers me complex and rewarding challenges. Every one of our patients, each of their situations are so very unique – meeting them where they are is absolutely essential to creating the best outcomes for them.”

“Sometimes that one thoughtful interaction, with that one certain individual, in that one special circumstance can turn a patient’s life around. Whenever I have the good fortune to be ‘that person’, I can’t begin to express how rewarding that feeling is.”

“Working in the psychiatric field presents a different challenge than the medical field. It takes a different mindset, and is a different type of nursing. Psychiatric nursing is challenging and rewarding at the same time.”
