Responsibilities and Qualifications

Under the supervision of the registered nurse, assist in the individualized care of the patient directed toward achieving the patients’ highest level of physical and mental wellness. Performs designated clinical procedures and non-clinical support tasks essential to nursing care. Assists in unit operational support tasks or duties. Performs duties and responsibilities in manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy service standards.

Qualifications:

Because you’re committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That’s why you’ll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:

 

  • Education: Completion of one to two years of college undergraduate studies in Psychology or mental health related field. Successful completion of Basic Skills I course within one month of hire or transfer.
  • Experience: Minimum 6 months experience working in a mental health setting.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
