Responsibilities and Qualifications

Under the direction of the Imaging Service Management team provides support to Imaging Services Department, acts as department transporter, receptionist and coordinates departmental communications. Responsible for transporting inpatients and ED patients to and from the Imaging department, enters Imaging orders into the computer system, and process imaging record releases.  Performs other duties as requested or needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience:  Minimum one year office experience.  Prior direct patient care or patient transport experience.
  • Certifications: Must have BLS - Basic Life Support
  • Other: This individual must be comfortable with direct patient contact;  transporting patients with their medical equipment between departments.  Must be multi-tasked with the ability to prioritize and have basic computer knowledge. Must have great customer service skills. The interaction with patients is consistent with the specific age of the patient.
