Responsibilities and Qualifications

Overview:


Perform various clerical and secretarial duties including the following: referral/intake, insurance verification, computer data entry, telephone call processing and assisting patients who seek equipment at the Medical Supply store front. Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience: One year previous medical office experience.
  • Other: Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Ability to convey messages clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast paced environment. Basic computer/data entry skills. Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
