Responsibilities and Qualifications

Overview:


Reviews electronic health records after discharge for completeness in compliance with hospital bylaws, Arkansas Department of Health and JCAHO. Assures that all chart deficiencies are entered into EPIC and assigned to the appropriate physician. Acts as backup to the Release of Information position. Perform Open Record Review. Completes work queues as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School graduate or equivalent 
  • Experience: One or more years of previous similar hospital experience
  • Other: Basic computer knowledge Ability to work under pressure with time constraints Ability to work with physicians in a collaborative manner Ability to work with other departments ina collaborative manner Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
