Responsibilities and Qualifications

Responsible for providing assistance and guidance to individuals and their family members through assessment, treatment, referral, case management, and follow-up as needed. Incumbent will provide a variety of services, including but not limited to individual, couple, family and group therapy. As well as education and support of needs identified within the employee community, management mandated treatment, and participation on crisis incident response teams. Performs related duties as assigned.

  • Education: Masters degree in social work, psychology or counseling required.
  • Licensure: Currently licensed for independent practice in the State of Missouri.
  • Other: Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Skills and knowledge of human behavior and clinical aspects of counseling. Strong written and oral communication skills and strong organizational skills are required. Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Stand and walk for majority of work day. Able to manage several activities simultaneously. Equipment Used: Phone, fax, computer.
  • Preferred Experience: Five years previous experience is preferred. Prior EAP experience and substance abuse counseling preferred.
