    Responsibilities and Qualifications

    A Manager of Laboratory Services in consultation with Mercy Hospital Springfield Pathology Services, plans, organizes and directs all aspects of the clinical laboratory to ensure compliance with CLIA, TJC and other regulatory requirements. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, guiding principles and mercy service standards. 

     

     

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science.
    • Licensure: Current certification as a Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist by a national agency or national certification in a clinical laboratory specialty.
    • Experience: Five years of clinical laboratory supervisory/management experience.
