Responsibilities and Qualifications



Start and discontinue IV's based on provider order.

Collect and document pre-procedure patient history/data.

Assist with procedures using sterile technique.

Transport patients via bed and/or wheelchair.

Provide patient and/or care giver education.

Collect and document vital signs.

Monitor patients post-procedure to ensure a return to baseline prior to discharge.

Administer medication and treatment as prescribed.

Perform intra-procedure documentation.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Education: Graduation from a Paramedic program.

Licensure: Missouri Paramedic licensure (EMT-P).

Experience: None

Certification/Registration: None

Other Skills & Knowledge: Skills, knowledge and abilities: Ability to start IVs. Working conditions, mental and physical requirements. Equipment used.

Preferred Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Other Skills & Knowledge: Epic knowledge
