Responsibilities and Qualifications

The role of the Radiologic Technologist will perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures at a technically accepted level. Assume responsibility for procedures performed. Communicate with patients, families and other employees in a caring, friendly manner. Performs related duties as assigned. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.



Because you’re committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That’s why you’ll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Holds American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification or equivalent, and active registration in Radiography.
  • Credentials must be in good standing by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Minimum, graduate technologist.
  • Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period.
