Mercy is a community of professionals serving people's health care needs through hospitals, physician practices, and a variety of outpatient locations and services in the Midwest. About Mercy Rehab Hospital:
Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital is located at Highway 65 and Evans Road in Springfield, MO. The Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital provides inpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal-cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries and other conditions.
Designed to promote recuperation outside the traditional hospital setting, Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital incorporates many unique features, including:
The greatest feature of our new rehabilitation hospital is our dedicated team of clinicians. These rehab professionals provide the exceptional patient care for which Mercy is known, with an emphasis on improving individual functional ability and quality of life.
Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups to include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, Mercy Code of Conduct, Mercy Mission and Values and Mercy Service Standards.
Basic life support training should be completed in 90 days with advanced training required at certain intervals.
