The purpose of this position is to assure professional health and educational on-site care for clients. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy service standards.
A. Assists by taking vital signs
B. Performing clinical procedures such as cholestech procedures, finger stick blood collection, pulmonary functions, audiometric testing, glucose testing, EKG, body fat analysis, etc.
C. Blood draws for lab work up.
D. Administering appropriate injections according to policy and procedures.
E. Conducting urine collections.
F. Conducting breath alcohol testing.
G. Consult with patients on health assessments, risk factors, immunizations including travel, etc; Providing educational materials to employees and clients.
H. Consultation and education regarding a clients health assessment, risk factor modification, immunizations, exposures and other condition.
I. Provide health education materials to clients as needed.
J. Assist physicians with medical procedures as appropriate.
A. Process paperwork and clients through physicals and health assessments as deemed by employer or regulations.
B. Maintain all correspondence necessary with above processes (notify corporate office).
C. Communicate client status via confidential conversation, or mailed results.
D. Obtain authorization for tests, procedures or other services.
E. Deliver all paperwork to corporate office in a timely manner.
F. Assist with inventory supply ordering through notification of needs.
G. Assist with patient participation tracking.
Participate in community events and health fairs.

Licensure: Registered nurse with current licensure in Missouri;
Certifications: Current CPR Certification required.
Preferred Licensure: RN licensure in Missouri and Illinios preferred.
Preferred Certifications: B.A.T. Certified preferred. Certified by the American College of Occupational Health Nurses preferred. Urine drug screen collection certified preferred.
