Responsibilities and Qualifications

The intern will be assigned to the area of Change Management within Mercy Technology Services. The intern will, under general supervision, perform office tasks including, but not limited to: processing of low risk changes, reviewing changes within the system for trends or patterns, reviewing of any incoming tickets and, analyzing of data and reporting.  Through these assignments, the intern will gain a broad understanding of many aspects of Information Technology within a large health care organization. The intern will participate in formal, structured internal training courses as required.  Qualified candidates must be able to commit a minimum of one semester and be available to work part-time during the school year and over the summer.

  • Education: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with a minimum of one year remaining until graduation (May 2019 is the earliest that will be considered).
  • Experience: Must be available to work part-time during the school year and over the summer.
