    Position Responsibilities:


    The Registered Nurse, utilizing theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice will assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice for adult/geriatric patients.


    Position Qualifications:


    Minimum Qualifications

    Licensure: Current RN licensure by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.

    Certifications: BLS.  Required certifications must be current before being assigned to care for patient independently.


    Other: Demonstrates basic competencies for Orthopedic/Neurology Nurse according to the competency checklists and must complete all unit based education/training within 3 months of employment which are reviewed and verified annually. Requires excellent written, verbal, communication and organizational skills. Computer literate in Microsoft WORD, EXCEL and PowerPoint and Epic electronic medical record.


    Preferred Qualifications


    Preferred Education: BSN

    Preferred Experience: Minimum 2 years active RN experience in an acute care setting.


    Preferred Certifications: ACLS
