    Responsibilities and Qualifications

    The Critical Care Supervisor will assist in the development, organization, implementation and evaluation of the total service given in the critical care unit. Assists with education activities, recruitment, interdepartmental activities including quality monitors and chart review. Effectively supervising the critical care staff in the delivery of patient care ensuring that patient safety is top priority. The supervisor will utilizes appropriate resources to optimize patient care and the flow of patients through the department while utilizing appropriate fiscal resources. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

    Education: Graduated from an approved registered nurse program.
    Licensure: Current licensure by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing
    Experience: A minimum of 5 years clinical experience preferably critical care/ER.
    Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
    Other: Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. Varied Knowledge of computer programs. Demonstrates leadership skills to direct coworkers using Mercy Service Standards.
    Preferred Education: BSN
    Preferred Licensure:
    Preferred Experience: Supervisory experience.
    Preferred Certifications: CCRN preferred.
    Preferred Other:
