    Responsibilities and Qualifications

    The security officer II will provide security of the hospital property for the protection of hospital staff, patients, and visitors. He/she will provide protection of persons and /or property from harm/loss due to acts in violation of law, hospital policies, and/or regulations. A prospective security officer must be

    able to pass a standard background check.

    • MINIMUM REQUIRED Education: High School diploma. Some tecdhnical classes in law enforcement.

    • Licensure cerifications:

      Taser certified
      Safe level 3 certified
      CPR certified
      First aide training



    •  Experience: Some knowledge of law enforcement, and civil law

      Other skills & knowledge:(skills, knowledge, abilities) Knowledge of criminology




      Experience: Five (5) years of hospital security, or law enforcement.
