    Responsibilities and Qualifications

    A Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for nuclear imaging at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical details. Will be cross trained in CT if needed. Assumes responsibility for procedures performed. Adheres to the Nuclear Medicine Department Policies and Procedures and stays current with hospital and department education. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, guiding principles and mercy service standards.



    Because you’re committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That’s why you’ll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:


    • Education: Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine program
    • Licensure: ARRT, NMTCB
    • Experience: Proficient in all areas of nuclear medicine and able to assist in radiology where needed: radiology, surgery, portables, and plain film. 
      Certifications: BLS or obtain within 90 days of hire
