    Responsibilities and Qualifications

    Reporting to the Director of Marketing Planning, the Marketing Planning Manager is responsible for the development of regional and local marketing plans that represent their region/communities in the ministry-wide marketing planning process. These plans will serve as the basis of budgetary investment, operational focus & deployment, with a concentration on driving patient growth & retention. The Manager will be responsible for client relationship management in their designated community/ies, representing Integrated Marketing as an ambassador. This position will work closely with local operational leadership and other Integrated Marketing teams to ensure coordination and prioritization of work efforts and reporting. The leader will perform all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the mission and values of Mercy.

     

    High-level Job Requirements

     

    Assist in the creation & development of marketing plans that drive patient acquisition and retention across the region

     

    Support marketing goals, objectives and tactics which are measurable and repeatable

     

    Responsible for local client relationship management representing Integrated Marketing as an ambassador

     

    Support the horizontal execution of the plan occurs across multiple parties within Marketing through coordination and communication

     

    Participate in the development and implementation of communications strategies and plans in support of internal and external needs

     

    Single point of contact for all marketing related activities within the region and designation communities

    Education Requirements

     

    Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, public relations, communications or similar area of study preferred

     

    Experience Requirements

     

    Demonstrated track record for success

    Ability to work as a part of team that is both local and virtual

    Health care experience preferred

     

    Skill Requirements

    Organized, reliable self-starter with strong creative thinking, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making and interpersonal skills

     

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively

    Credible and articulate, with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
