    Responsibilities and Qualifications

    This position is responsible for managing a wide range of philanthropy projects including Moves management review with portfolio preparation, tracking and entering and donor communications. This individual will also assist in execution developing donor materials including letters, memos, newsletter articles, and direct mail pieces.  This position performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in related field.

    Other

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and calmly under deadline.
    • Command of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and the Internet.
    • Organized, energetic and flexible.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Commitment to the mission and values of Mercy.

    Preferred Experience:

    • Experience soliciting local and national foundations and corporations.
    • Adherence to deadlines and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
    • Maintains a professional work style.
    • Demonstrated experience in effectively working with all levels of leadership and staff.
