    Responsibilities and Qualifications

    The CT Technologist works under the supervision of the Administrative Supervisor and/or Director, and obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. Produces Xray images and computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as required by the departmental procedures.

     

    Must have experience as a Radiologic Technologist as well as a Registered CT Technologist.  

     

    This position requires CALL TIME evenings and weekend rotation. 

     

     

    Because you’re committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That’s why you’ll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:

     

     

    Education: Secondary and some post-secondary. Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology Program.
    Licensure: ARRT in Radiography and Computed Tomography; KS License required, as well.
    Experience:  Minimum 2years
    Certifications: BLS Basic Life Support Within 3 Months Of Hire.
    Other: Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills. Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Able to operate various types of office equipment, including a computer, fax machine, telephone, printer and copy machine.
