    Responsibilities and Qualifications

    The role of the Consumer Marketing Analyst is to provide reporting and analytics that support the development and strategy for all of Mercy’s consumer marketing efforts. The analyst will have experience mining and interpreting data for multi-channel marketing campaigns, digital products, social media and direct consumer behavior, providing insights about performance data and highlighting how data aligns with defined business goals and metrics. The analyst will perform all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the mission and values of Mercy.

     

    High level job requirements

    • Develop and produce meaningful marketing dashboards and reports on a weekly, bi-weekly and/or monthly basis that drive content and campaign strategies
    • Analyze data from the consumer usage of all multi-channel marketing efforts, including all digital products and social media, providing insights and proactively making recommendations to improve the overall consumer experience

     Multi-Channel Consumer Analytics

    • Understand & build customer data sets to aid in Mercy’s understanding of key marketing behaviors, including acquisition, conversion, engagement & retention
    • Build & manage customer analytics dashboards and reports
    • Analyze performance & mix of digital & traditional marketing tactics
    • Provide data to CRM for optimization & analysis of campaign marketing tactics
    • Create insights, contributing to ongoing strategic & analytic marketing development
    • Assist in creation and definition of A/B & multi-variate tests

    Digital Analytics

    • Administer & manage Mercy’s digital analytics tools – Adobe Analytics & Google Analytics
    • Administer & manage Mercy’s digital tag management tool – Adobe DTM
    • Support key conversion points in the marketing funnel, including landing pages, calls-to-action, and lead generation forms
    • Act as subject matter expert for digital and social analytics data
    • Build reporting & dashboards for all Mercy digital platforms
    • Analyze and interpret trends; provide actionable insights based on available data
    • Support organic search & organic social marketing efforts, assisting in goal-setting based on impressions, clicks, traffic and conversions

    Marketing Operations

    • Build & review URLs & digital tags for use in Mercy marketing campaigns
    • Support analysis of Mercy’s internal communications digital products (Poppulo, Intranet)
    • Support administration & analysis for Mercy’s inbound digital response tools (Click-to-call, Online Scheduling, etc.)
    • Collaborate with technology services, Digital, Community Relations, Media Relations, Brand, Market Analytics and CRM teams to develop ongoing reporting and analytics requirements
    • Change Management - Embrace fluidity of the healthcare industry and changes likely to occur in coming years, acknowledging that ministry needs will require role variation for all. Our entire department will be required to accept change and to lead through it

    Education Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Statistics or Computer Science required

     Experience Requirements

    • Three plus years in multi-channel marketing analytics
    • Two plus years in digital analytics, preferably with Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics
    • Expert level experience with data visualization, data management & analysis tools
    • Experience in building, converting & managing large, complex relational data sets
    • Experience with data extraction & manipulation techniques & statistical methods
