    Responsibilities and Qualifications


    Under the general supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and according to current regulations and standards of treatment; will provide physical therapy to patients, as comprehensive individualized treatment programs for patients of all age ranges according to departmental policies and procedures. Will perform all work with accord to the mission, vision, and values of Mercy.


    Because you’re committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That’s why you’ll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:


    Education: Graduate of PTA program approved by Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education and/or according to State Law.


    Licensure: Current License in the state of Oklahoma as Physical Therapist Assistant


    Other: Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills required. Person must be able to work well with others and be flexible with regard to performing a variety of duties.


    Preferred Experience: Experience in working with people.


    Preferred Other: Basic computer skills, good ability to communicate one to one.
