Perform all work with accord to the mission, vision, and values of Mercy Health Center. Under general supervision performs skilled work relating to the maintenance of all Mercy buildings, properties systems and plant equipment as assigned. Performs proactive maintenance, safety and operational testing and documentation of all designated systems and equipment as assigned.
Maintenance procedures on equipment/systems as assigned.
Verify equipment/systems have completed data sheet with service/operator
manuals and is properly filed.
Repair and maintain all property/equipment/systems to the stated facility,
performance, regulatory and budgetary standard.
Monitor success of procedure and recommend revision based on experience.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Licensure: Class 2 Boiler operator’s license
Experience: Experience relative to maintenance in steam, chilled water hydronic systems, electrical, electronics, plumbing, pneumatic, HVAC and mechanical systems. Minimum three to five years related trade/discipline experience with intermediate computer literacy
Preferred Education: Minimum four years related experience in a maintenance field, licensure and/or technical training required.
Preferred Licensure: Journeyman mechanical license; Advanced training and Class 1 Boiler operator’s license
Preferred Experience: Has understanding of intermediate computer application skills and has the ability to make decisions of moderate difficulty.
Preferred Certifications: Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) certification
