    Responsibilities and Qualifications

    Overview

    Responsible for the development and ongoing management of two departments including: Corporate Health and the Mobile Bus.

     

    Qualifications:

     

     

     

    Because you’re committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That’s why you’ll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:

     

    • Education: Bachelors of Science degree in Health/Wellness related field.
    • Licensure: Missouri licensure as appropriate.
    • Experience: 3-5 years experience in Healthcare or related field.  Previous experience researching, designing, and delivering presentations to groups. 2 years of leading or supervising co-workers.
    • Certifcation/Registration: AHA Basic Life Support certification. Certified Wellness Coach. 
    • Other: Knowledge of health care reimbursement and finance, physician practices, physician compensation and patient accounting. Must have good computer skills. Knowledge of services related to occupational medicine. Knowledge of OSHA standards. Strong verbal and written skills. Knowledge in wellness and program development for industry. Knowledge of HRA components and impact on ROI for industry. Working Conditions: Regular and punctual attendance. Confinement in tight, crowded, noisy and drafty work spaces. Frequent mobility in accessing files, charts, and patients. Ability to travel extensively in a four state region. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and Clinic personnel. Legible handwriting. Requirement to maintain strict confidentiality of patient information. Ability to work under stress. Willingness to work a flexible schedule. Rigid accuracy in the identification and reporting of co-worker directions, patient instructions, medications, data billing and payments. Willingness to use personal protective equipment in compliance with exposure control program.
