    Responsibilities and Qualifications

    Transfers patients to and from patient rooms and assists in moving patients to and from Imaging tables. Cleans wheelchairs and stretchers with appropriate cleaning solution, keeps wheelchair/stretcher bays neat and orderly. Will assist patients to the restroom and with dressing, as needed. Will communicate appropriately with the patient, family, nursing staff, physicians and others. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Checks requisitions and transport patients to and from appropriate Imaging areas as needed. Handles IV’s, IV pumps, oxygen, catheters and monitoring devices. Will provide a variety of Imaging related work functions as needed.

    • Education: High School graduate or equivalent
    • Licensure: Current BLS certification
    • Other: Good communication skills, ability to lift patients properly and able to walk long distances. Please see functional job screen. Requires lifting people safely and walking long distances. Physical demands include: push-pull up to 50+lbs, pinch up to 15+lbs, kneel, crouch and crawl minimally.
