    Responsibilities and Qualifications

    Interpret orders for requested ultrasound exams and procedures. Produce high quality diagnostic ultrasound images. Selects proper technical factors on an individual patient basis and operates equipment as directed. Provide patient protection in accordance with the hospital safety standards. Assists physicians in interventional procedures. Functions as a cooperative team member and reports any personnel or procedural incidents to the Manager and or through our MER system. Maintain current on all credentialing agencies and CPR.



    Because you’re committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That’s why you’ll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:

    • Education: Completion of Radiologic Technology school with current ARRT registry and currently in second year of ultrasound school.
    • Licensure: Registered Radiologic Technologist
    • Experience: Must be a senior in ultrasound school and has acquired experience and possesses capability as determined to be adequate for this position.
    • Certifications: CPR
