    Seasonal position in Pediatrics

     

    Must have Pediatrics experience!

    • 1 year contracted position
    • Coworker is off June 1st –August 31st.
    • Coworker receives a $2500 bonus divided over 6 pay periods during the slow season.
    • Coworker may use $2500 bonus and accrued PTO to maintain benefits and pay salary during the slow season.
    • Day and Night shifts available.
    • Must work 2 major holidays and 1 minor during the 9 month period. 
    • Normal accrual of PTO and ESB commensurate with time worked.  
    • Must use your PTO in the summer months.

    • Shift Differential Incentive Pay.
    • BSN Differential Pay for those applicants who have completed a BSN program.
    • RN to BSN Bridging Program to assist in the pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree.
    • Up to $2,000 annually for Tuition Reimbursement.
    • Career Ladder Program – Eligible after one year of service, RNs can opt into the Career Ladder Program. The Career Ladder for Professional Mercy Nurses is a program developed for RNs to be recognized for their role in providing clinical excellence, dedication to patient/family/co-worker satisfaction and recognizing their commitment to the profession of nursing at Mercy and the surrounding community.  You can receive up to $5000 for this recognition.

     

    Position Qualifications:

    • We require a nursing degree from an accredited school.
    • Strongly prefer a minimum of two years' nursing experience.  
    • RN License in the State of Missouri.
    • Must have a current Basic Life Support (CPR) certification through the American Heart Association.
