    Responsibilities and Qualifications

    Responsible for providing home testing education to patients. Responsibilities include equipment setup, providing demonstration with patient to ensure accurate sensor placement. Implementation of hospital and departmental safety, infection control, and quality assurance measures are required. Maintains data base for QI program. Performs related duties as assigned. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

    Minimum Required Qualifications

    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience: Previous direct patient/customer contact.
    • Certification/Registration: CPR certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required. Or complete a CPR course to acquire CPR certification from the AHA is completed within probation period. Maintain AHA active CPR certification during employment. 
    • Other Skills and Knowledge: Strong communication skills including verbal, written and demonstration, Excellent time management, and Basic Microsoft office use.

     Preferred Qualifications

    • Education: Associates degree or higher in health related field
    • Other: Advanced Microsoft office use
    • Experience: Health care work, including direct patient care, experience beneficial
