We’re a Little Different
Our mission is clear. We bring to life a healing ministry through our compassionate care and exceptional service.
We don’t believe in jobs at Mercy, we believe in careers that match the unique gifts of unique individuals; careers that not only make the most of your skills and talents, but also your heart.
At Mercy, you’ll feel our supportive community every step of your day, especially the tough ones. We’re a team and love working that way. That team is expanding, and we currently have exceptional opportunities to help our communities grow.
What we offer…
Why Join Mercy’s EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT?
We are the only Level 1 Trauma Center in St. Louis County. Our ED focuses on providing patient care through a team based approach. We care for all ages of patients between our adult and pediatric ED and have a separate group of nurses focused solely on each population. We also have a strong group of nurses who provide care to both populations. Our nurses receive extensive training on all types of patients including Trauma, Stroke and STEMI. Nurses work closely with our ED physicians with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
What is our Fellowship Program? (this will be generic for the dummy req, but for each department’s req we will tailor it with details specific to that fellowship)
As a fellowship nurse you will go through a 16 week educational program focused both on didactical and clinical experiences throughout this time. This fellowship is focused on our adult patients and includes education around emergency medicine to prepare you to care for any adult patient seeking care.
New Graduates: You must graduate with your nursing degree prior to the Fellowship/Residency Program start date in order to be considered for this opportunity.
Please see our upcoming Fellowship dates below:
When applying please keep in mind…
You will be required to complete an Online Assessment which consists of 100 questions. You are only able to take the online assessment once so please give yourself plenty of time. We offer day-one comprehensive health, vision and dental coverage, PTO, and employer-matched retirement funds, even to part-time employees. We’re proud to provide tuition reimbursement to help you grow and learn new skills.
What Makes a Good Match for Mercy
