    *Day Shift Position*



    In this position you must have the ability to work in a fast paced area. Prioritizing and multi-tasking skills. Able to make independent decisions, work autonomously, and/or closely with physicains and other coworkers. Extended walking and standing. Able to lift and transfer sedated patients. Will work in general endoscopy and flouroscopy procedures, scope cleaning and disinfecting. Primary day shifts with varying hours/shifts. On call hours required (days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays).

      • Up to $5,000 per year over a period of 4 ½ years ($20,000 cap).
      • Must graduate within the past 12-months of beginning employment with Mercy to qualify.
    • Career Ladder Program – Eligible after one year of service. This program recognizes RNs for their role in providing clinical excellence and dedication to patients/family/community (up to $5,000 per year).

    Responsibilities and Qualifications

    • We require a nursing degree from an accredited school. BSN highly preferred.
    • You’ll also need a current RN license in our state.
    • Basic life support training through the American Heart Association.
    • ACLS required (ALCS to be acquired within 6 months of hire date)
    • Prior GI or OR experience preferred. 3-4 years of nursing experience preferred.
    • Due to on-call responsibilities, applicant must live within a 30 minute drive time from the hospital.
